Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov held a series of bilateral meetings within the framework of the 2nd meeting of the Ministers of Industry, Science, Technology, and Innovation of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS). During the meetings, discussions were held on strengthening the economic cooperation, implementing innovative technologies, expanding trade turnover, and reinforcing strategic partnerships.

As part of the 2nd meeting of the OTS Ministers of Industry, Science, Technology, and Innovation, Minister Mikayil Jabbarov held a meeting with Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Kubanychbek Omuraliev.

The meeting focused on the strengthened position of the Organization of Turkic States on the global stage and opportunities for expanding economic cooperation among the member countries. The parties emphasized the importance of expanding joint activities in priority areas such as the application of modern technologies, innovative solutions, transport, logistics, and transit. It was noted that strengthening cooperation in these areas would significantly contribute to the economic development and mutual integration of the region’s countries.

Within the framework of the meeting, Minister Mikayil Jabbarov also met with Minister of Industry and Technology of Türkiye Mehmet Fatih Kacir. The discussion revolved around enhancing the Azerbaijan-Türkiye economic union and exploring prospects for diversifying cooperation. The parties acknowledged that expanding joint activities plays a crucial role in achieving common goals within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States and further strengthening economic partnership.

During the next meeting held as part of the session, Minister Mikayil Jabbarov conducted a meeting with Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, Bakyt Sydykov. The meeting focused on strengthening strategic partnerships between the two countries and increasing trade turnover. Cooperation in priority sectors such as technology and innovation, agriculture, energy, logistics, and infrastructure was actively supported and discussed.Top of Form
