National Business Development Forum was held with the participation of entrepreneurs
On October 8, the National Business Development Forum was held jointly by the State Service on Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy, the “Caspian Energy Club” and the Azerbaijan National Business Association. At the forum, attended by the representatives of both state and private companies, the work carried out over the past period by the World Bank Group’s “Enabling the Business Environment” project, specifically by the “Property Registration and Leasing” Working Group, as well as the responses to the questionnaires submitted to private sector representatives under the “Business Ready” report were discussed.
Telman Aliyev, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the group of the “Caspian Energy Club, noted that the meeting would be useful for discussing issues facing the business community.
Elshad Mammadov, Deputy chairman of the Board of the public legal entity “State Cadastre and Registry of Real Estate”, gave information about new reforms in the fields of cadastre and registry of real state, development of entrepreneurship, accessibility of state services and and steps taken to ensure transparency in the business environment.
At the event, presentations were made on the “Business Location (Property Registration)” indicator based on the methodology of the “Business Ready” report.
Issues of interest to entrepreneurs were discussed at the forum, participants’ proposals were heard, and their questions were answered.
