Partnership with Serbia Expands
At the meeting with Serbia’s Minister of Internal and Foreign Trade, discussions focused on strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries, diversifying economic cooperation, and promoting mutual trade, investment, and business relations.
Within the framework of the 1st Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov met with Jagoda Lazarević, Minister of Internal and Foreign Trade of Serbia.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that high-level reciprocal visits, meetings and events, as well as signed agreements, have elevated relations between Azerbaijan and Serbia to the level of strategic partnership. It was noted that there is significant potential to strengthen economic and trade cooperation with Serbia. The importance of enhancing collaboration in line with this potential—particularly in mutual investment, energy, transport, and other sectors—was highlighted.
The parties exchanged views on strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries, diversifying economic cooperation, and promoting mutual trade, investment, and business relations. They also discussed prospects for joint initiatives and underlined the importance of successfully implementing projects that can contribute to the development of bilateral economic relations.
