A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the Ministry of Economy and Visa on the development of the SME sector, promotion of innovative financial solutions, and the creation of an inclusive economic environment.

Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov held a meeting with Cristina Doros, Senior Vice President of Visa for the CIS, Eastern, and South-Eastern European countries.

At the meeting, potential cooperation opportunities with the company were discussed. The parties emphasized the importance of implementing joint initiatives aimed at promoting economic and financial inclusion, developing the digital payment ecosystem, and supporting small and medium-sized enterprises.

Within the framework of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Economy and Visa.  According to the document, the cooperation will be expanded in the areas of developing the SME sector, promoting innovative financial solutions, and creating an inclusive economic environment.

The Memorandum of Understanding will make a significant contribution to the digitalization of the economy and the support of the business environment.
