At the meeting held at the Ministry of Economy, discussions were held on expanding economic cooperation with the United States.

Economy Minister Mikayıl Jabbarov met with Emily Carlon, the Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the United States Embassy in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

At the meeting, it was emphasized that our country values the development of relations with the United States. It was noted that there are great prospects for the development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United States in the fields of economic trade, energy, investment, transport-transit, industry, and other sectors.

The parties discussed the possibilities of jointly realizing the existing potential for expanding economic cooperation between our countries through joint initiatives and highlighted the importance of projects implemented within the framework of mutual interests for the development of the region.

At the meeting, Azerbaijan's strategic position as a reliable energy partner and a regional hub among European and Central Asian countries was emphasized, and discussions were held on the prospects of the Middle Corridor and the development of partnerships in various sectors of the economy.
