An Agreement Memorandum envisaging investment cooperation with Pakistan was signed in the city of Khankendi within the framework of the 17th Summit Meeting of the Economic Cooperation Organization.

Within the framework of the 17th Summit Meeting of the Economic Cooperation Organization held in the city of Khankendi, a Memorandum of Understanding on investment cooperation with Pakistan was signed in the presence of Pakistan’s Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif. The document was signed by Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov and Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Muhammad Ishag Dar.

The document will give impetus to the implementation of the instructions of the two countries’ leaders to further strengthen mutual economic relations and investment partnership.
