The potential for economic cooperation with Pakistan, as well as the intensive promotion of trade and mutual investments, was discussed.

Within the framework of the 17th Summit Meeting of the Economic Cooperation Organization held in the city of Xankandi, Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov met with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Muhammad Ishag Dar.

The meeting emphasized that the relations between the two friendly countries are strengthening based on mutual trust, and cooperation in various fields is developing rapidly. An exchange of views was held on the opportunities created by the Azerbaijan-Pakistan partnership for diversifying our economic ties and the prospects for implementing joint projects.

The parties discussed strengthening bilateral economic and trade relations, actively promoting mutual investments, and the prospects for cooperation between business entities of our countries.
