Letter of Intent signed between WEF and Ministry of Economy on Accelerator Platform

During a videoconference meeting between Minister of Economy Mikayıl Jabbarov and Managing Director of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Mirek Dusek, a Letter of Intent was signed between the WEF and the Ministry of Economy regarding the Accelerator Platform.
Minister of Economy Mikayıl Jabbarov held a videoconference meeting with Managing Director of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Mirek Dusek. During the meeting, it was emphasized that effective cooperation has been established between Azerbaijan and the WEF, with Azerbaijan actively participating in several of the Forum's initiatives. The steps taken towards digital transformation, innovation, and technology in Azerbaijan within the framework of this cooperation were highlighted. The parties also exchanged views on the prospects of the partnership and potential opportunities.
As part of the meeting, an online signing ceremony was held for the Letter of Intent between the World Economic Forum (WEF) and the Ministry of Economy regarding the Accelerator Platform. According to the Letter of Intent, the WEF, in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy, will support initiatives to connect Azerbaijan to the global knowledge and exchange network by bringing together representatives from the public and private sectors. This initiative aims to create new opportunities in the development of innovation and skills and to contribute to the growth of a modern skills ecosystem.
It was noted that the Skills Accelerator Platform will offer solutions for developing human capital in line with the rapidly changing economy and will stimulate public-private partnerships.
