Expansion of economic relations with Albania discussed
Investment and joint activities were discussed, and an agreement on economic cooperation was signed in a meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Infrastructure and Energy Belinda Balluku, the possibilities of promoting bilateral business partnership.
A meeting was held between Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov, President of SOCAR Rovshan Najaf and Deputy Prime Minister of Albania, Minister of Infrastructure and Energy Belinda Balluku.
The importance of high-level mutual visits and negotiations in the development of relations with Albania was emphasized at the meeting. It was mentioned that the strengthening of economic cooperation between our countries occupies an important place in the context of bilateral relations. From this point of view, the organization of business trips, meetings and events in various formats is useful in establishing an effective economic partnership.
Information was provided at the meeting about the favorable business and investment environment of our country, the opportunities created for investors, and the potential of strengthening partnership with Albania in the fields of energy, trade, investment, industry, agriculture, tourism, transport and infrastructure was brought to the attention.
The parties discussed the possibilities of promoting bilateral business partnership, investment and joint activities.
The Agreement on economic cooperation was signed within the framework of the meeting, between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania. As per the document, promotion of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Albania in priority projects, including trade, investment, energy, transport, infrastructure, agriculture, tourism, environment, humanitarian and other areas is envisaged.
