Issues of cooperation discussed with the World Bank
The indicative program of investment projects developed by the Bank, the next steps in the preparation of the new Country Partnership Framework covering the years 2023-2028 and the prospects for the development of cooperation were exchanged at the meeting with the World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus Mrs. Rolande Pryce.

The Minister of Economy pointed out that Azerbaijan has successfully cooperated with the World Bank, and the Bank's technical assistance and financial support projects in our country are highly appreciated. It was noted that partnership with the Bank in the field of diagnostics of the private sector, innovations, digital development, development of management technologies, support of micro, small and medium entrepreneurship, application of international experience in Azerbaijan contributed to the development of the country's economy.
Renewable energy and the transition to a "green" economy, as well as other projects that Azerbaijan is interested in implementing, were brought to attention within the framework of cooperation with the World Bank.
Rolande Pryce emphasized the effective cooperation of the Bank with the government of Azerbaijan, expressed his confidence that the relations will expand further, and shared his views on the development of the partnership.
The parties discussed the indicative program of investment projects developed by the Bank, the Country Partnership Framework covering the years 2023-2028 and the development prospects of cooperation.
