Developing cooperation with Saudi Arabia discussed
Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov and Minister of Economy and Planning of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Faisal Al-Ibrahim met via an online meeting.
Mr. Jabbarov congratulated on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, as well as on the upcoming Ramadan holiday, voicing that our country attaches great significance to the development of relations with Saudi Arabia. The Economy Minister further noted that business relations between the business circles of our countries are developing, where trade and investment cooperation are among the main areas of our relations.
Highlighting the importance of the participation of Saudi investors in the process of rebuilding our liberated territories, Mikayil Jabbarov also shared his views on investing in priority areas of agriculture in Azerbaijan and establishing joint ventures, exporting our products to Saudi Arabia, expanding mutual SMB contacts, hosting investment and business opportunity events in both countries, etc.
Faisal Al-Ibrahim, Minister of Economy and Planning of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, stressed the importance of partnership with Azerbaijan and successful development of relations, and expressed confidence that the measures taken to strengthen multifaceted cooperation between the two countries would contribute to the implementation of new joint projects and the development of trade and economic relations.
The sides focused on the promotion of economic relations, the sustainable development of our trade relations, new opportunities for cooperation in investment and other issues of mutual interest.
