In order to accelerate the privatization of state-owned property and enhance the efficiency of its management, the State Service for Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy continues to hold auctions. Another such auction for the privatization of state property was held on February 15. The auction privatized two small state-owned enterprises and facilities and 12 vehicles.

The great interest observed in the previous auctions was again in the privatization of vehicles, and the auction was competitive.  The offer for one of the vehicles was 6 times higher than the initial starting price. So that, the last offer for an Ural brand vehicle with an initial sale price of 2,500 manats has grown to 15,100 manats. In addition, although the initial starting price of Hyundai Sonata was 7,000 manats, the vehicle was privatized for 10,600 manats.

The privatized facility and a small state-owned enterprise are located in Beylagan and Shamkir regions.

The state budget will receive 100,855 manats for the privatized property at the auction on February 15.
