Auctions related to the use of mineral deposits create new opportunities and favorable conditions for entrepreneurs operating in this field. To this end, the Auction Center of the State Service for Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy and the State Agency for the Use of Mineral and Raw Materials under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources continue to hold auctions for the commissioning of mineral deposits.

76 hectares of the Sitalchay sand and gravel deposit, 5.5 hectares of the Yeni Yashma I sand deposit in Khizi region, including 20 hectares of the Sulutchay sand and gravel deposit in the Aghsu region, 2.14 hectares of the Uchtapa-Gizilgaya granite deposit in the Goygol region and 5 hectares of the Salyan clay deposit in the Salyan region were put into operation.

The tenders of the Sitalchay sand and gravel deposit for LOT-2 and LOT-3 were competitive. The last bid for LOT-2 with an opening price of 42,000 manat totaled to 65,700 manat. Moreover, the last bid for LOT-3 with an opening price of 42,000 manat rose to 65,800 manat.

Note that the winner of the sand and gravel deposit "Sitalchay" at LOT-2, LOT-3, LOT-4, LOT-5 was "17th Special Purpose Road Operation" LLC, while MSDIS HOLDING LLC won the LOT-6.

The winner of the auction for the sand and gravel deposit "Sulutchay" was the Eurasian Construction Corporation EVRASCON OJSC, the granite deposit "Uchtapa-Gizilgaya" was taken over by NB SERAMIC LLC, the sand deposit “Yeni Yashma I” by KLV LLC, while AZERICHIN TMI LLC won the "Salyan" clay deposit.

The next auctions for the commissioning of mineral deposits will take place on 9, 14 and 24 December, 2021. To take part in the auction, bidders must pay a fee in the amount indicated in the announcement and 10 percent of the opening price. Legal entities and individuals from foreign countries can also take part in the auction.

Note that 16 mineral deposits were put into operation at the subsoil use auctions that started this year.
