Innovations and modernization of services provided by the State Service for Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy have expanded citizens' access to real estate registration.

Accordingly, in the first ten months of this year compared to a year earlier, registration of real estate increased by 22.4% to 247,308. Of these, 53,738 fall to the share of initial registration and 193,570 to the share of re-registration.

The property registered in January-October 2021 is as follows: 39 836 - private houses and summerhouses, 75 224 - apartments, 122 073 - land plots, 2 877 - non-residential buildings, 6 631 - non-residential premises, 630 - property complexes and 37 - multi-storey residential buildings. Note that 85,092 of real estate objects registered in the first ten months of 2021 fall on the city of Baku, and the rest - in the regions.

In this period, 13,281 private houses and summer houses were initially registered. Compared to the same period last year, the number of initially registered individual houses and summer houses increased by 15.1%. A similar situation was observed during the initial registration of land plots and non-residential premises. So, compared to the first ten months of last year, the initial registration of land plots increased by 21.6% to 13,088, while the initial registration of non-residential premises grew up by 41% to 3,158.

In January-October of this year, a technical inventory of 193,028 real estate objects was carried out and a technical certificate was drawn up, which is 12.9% more than in the same period last year. Compared to a year earlier, the number of registered mortgage agreements in the first 10 months of 2021 increased by 54.8% to 42,029.
