During the meeting with Serbia’s Minister of Mining and Energy, the development of cooperation in the fields of energy, green technologies, industry and other priority areas, as well as the joint projects with SOCAR have been discussed.

Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov and President of SOCAR Rovshan Najaf have held a meeting with Dubravka Đedović Handanović, the Minister of Mining and Energy of the Republic of Serbia.

During the meeting, it was highlighted that the relations between our countries have risen to the level of the strategic partnership. The parties noted that the economic relations, particularly the energy cooperation are dynamically developing. It was emphasized that the first session of the Strategic Partnership Council between Azerbaijan and Serbia held earlier this year was of high significance in terms of further deepening the economic partnership and identifying new cooperation avenues. Information was provided on the positive investment environment created in Azerbaijan.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of cooperation in the fields of energy, green technologies, infrastructure, industry and investment. The sides also exchanged views on the works carried out within the framework of the cooperation with SOCAR and potential projects.
