A meeting has been held at the Ministry of Economy with the delegation from Goldman Sachs, during which prospects for cooperation in various sectors of the economy have been discussed.

Minister of Economy Mikayıl Jabbarov has met with the delegation led by Matt Gibson, the Global Head of Client Business, Asset and Wealth Management Division at Goldman Sachs.

The meeting emphasized the effective partnership between our country and the company. It was highlighted that Azerbaijan is a reliable partner for investors, thanks to its favorable business environment, macroeconomic stability, and strong foreign currency reserves. Information was provided about the reforms being implemented in the country, the policy of economic diversification, the development of the non-oil sector, and the digital development agenda. It was noted that the economic priorities defined in line with global challenges create favorable opportunities for strategic investments.

The parties reviewed prospects for cooperation across various sectors of the economy.
