During the meeting held at the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan with the Head of the International Monetary Fund mission in Azerbaijan, prospects for cooperation have been discussed.

Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov has held a meeting with the delegation led by Anna Bordon, the Head of the International Monetary Fund mission in Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, information was provided on Azerbaijan’s economic priorities and the reforms being implemented in this direction. The parties highlighted the country’s macroeconomic stability, the measures taken in energy, digitalization, tax, industry and other areas in line with the socio-economic development priorities, as well as the progress achieved through the adoption of advanced experiences.

The sides also reviewed prospects for cooperation.
